Barrie Thunder Classics –Car Show

This annual car show is hosted by Barrie Thunder Classics, one of the most active car clubs in Ontario. This is a great event for car enthusiasts to come out and take a look at classic and custom cars and trucks, while also enjoying an evening in Heritage Park along the waterfront.
Big Sky Music Festival

They’re taking it back to the good ole’ days with a classic country music fest featuring all-time favourites like Alabama, Travis Tritt, Diamond Rio and many more. This day-long festival will also feature camping options, a craft market, and classic car show.
Kempenfest

This is the most wonderful event of the year! Kempenfest celebrates the best that Barrie’s dynamic waterfront community has to offer. Hosted by several local not-for-profit organizations and service clubs, this festival features artisan crafts and handmade treats, an extremely popular antique show, concerts, and tons of fun for the kids…including a midway!
Boots & Hearts Music Festival

This is the event Canadian country fans mark their calendars for! Boots & Hearts is Canada’s largest country music festival, featuring popular headliners, young up-and-comers, and a whole host of talented musicians throughout the entire weekend.
Barrie Dragon Boat Festival

The Barrie Dragon Boat Race is a popular community event which raises money for local charities, such as the Barrie Public Library. The event strengthens community spirit, encourages teamwork and fosters organizational skills. But beyond that, it’s really just a whole lot of fun.
